Tazz Daddy stakes his reputation on his provocative and aggressive stance on the ills and idiosyncrasies of society and the media.
He also is the Director of Social Media for Clear Channel Radio, in addition to being one of the company’s highest rated personalities.
Tazz, started his career before middle school at WXPN’s Peabody Award Winning show “Kids Corner”. As an adult, he’s worked in several Markets, including Nashville, Austin, Jacksonville, and Dallas. Tazz helmed the Rickey Smiley Morning Show as its Executive Producer and during his tenure the show grew into a nationally syndicated urban radio powerhouse. In 2008 the show received the coveted R&R Magazine Best Morning Show. Contemporaneously, Tazz was honored by Edison Media and named one of the Top 30 Broadcast Professionals Under 30.
Tazz has shared his knowledge of the media business in the classroom as an adjunct professor teaching Broadcasting Techniques, Equipment, and Theory, and through the authorship of “The Handbook”, a guide for young media personalities learning how to navigate the industry. Tazz has also written a novella entitled “The Great Sexpectations of Atlas Riley”, a coming-of-age tale.
With his latest book, “Common Sense Ain’t Common”, Tazz has established himself as a leader amongst a new generation of Empowerment Coaches and Motivational Speakers. He’s been endorsed and mentored by the World’s foremost Motivational Speaker, Les Brown. Brown says of Tazz, “He is awesome! He will TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE!”
