Tazz’s career spans a broad spectrum from the halls of academia to the television studio and his renaissance man-like experience has made him uniquely qualified to expound on the myriad issues surrounding our ever-changing culture.

Tazz is the founder and editor-in-chief of TazzDaddy.com, an award-nominated alternative media hub that is quickly becoming one of the hottest online destinations for opinions and editorial on what matters.
He also is the host of the nationally syndicated radio shows The Core DJs Mix Show and The Tazz Daddy Show.

Tazz, a recipient of the prestigious Peabody Award for his work as a radio personality, helmed the Rickey Smiley Morning Show as its Executive Producer and during his tenure the show grew into a nationally syndicated urban radio powerhouse. In 2008 the show received the coveted R&R Magazine Best Morning Show. Contemporaneously, Tazz was honored by Edison Media and named one of the Top 30 Broadcast Professionals Under 30.

Tazz has shared his knowledge of the media business in the classroom as an adjunct professor teaching Broadcasting Techniques, Equipment, and Theory, and through the authorship of “The Handbook”, a guide for young media personalities learning how to navigate the industry. Tazz has also written a novella entitled “The Great Sexpectations of Atlas Riley”, a coming-of-age tale.

Tazz Daddy’s media repertoire includes successful forays on the stage and screen. As a standup comedian, he’s performed with luminaries including Bill Cosby, Mark Curry, Bill Bellamy, Wayne Brady, John Witherspoon, and Tommy Davidson.

Tazz also enjoyed a laudable career in television as producer and segment host of the Saturday morning show, Candid Kids Club.

Tazz’s outlook and perspective on our world is all at once humorous, analytical, uncanny, and thought-provoking. He is the mouthpiece of his generation and says what many of us are thinking.

Tazz  is a proud alumnus of Temple University, grew up in Philadelphia, and currently resides in an undisclosed location.
